I've just uploaded data for my first two meets of the season, and the first ever at athletic.com (thanks, BTW, for your amazing work!).  We place our athletes in division called A, B and C based on height, weight and age.  I'm aware that the database doesn't allow me to customize the names of divisions, although David said it's on his list (bless him!).  I initially called the division codes (in Hy-tek) A, B and C, but went through and re-named them V, JV and FS.  I uploaded them and (after a few hiccups that I fixed), they pulled in masterfully.  However, I was hoping that the younger, smaller and lighter kids (C team) would show up as the FS and the older, bigger, heavier kids would be Varsity.  (I realize that this is not a crisis, I'm just thinking it would make more sense to the people who visit the site looking for results.)  I tried changing the order of the codes in Hytek and re-uploading, but it didn't change.  I'm starting to think now that the code is not what's uploaded, but rather the "Div#."  If that's the case, then I should have had "A Team" on the first line, "B Team" on the second line, etc.

Now I'm thinking that if I try to reverse it now, I risk totally messing up all of the results from the meet.  And if I change it for the next meet, I'll create more inconsistency than it's worth.

Any suggestions?

Forget it, I just gutted up and re-arranged the events so that Division #1 is "A Team," etc. and it uploads perfectly.  But now I have a different problem.  When I go to use the results from the most recent meet as entries for the NEXT meet, all of my athletes, regardless of their previous division, are set to "Varsity."  I'd like to keep them in their previous divisions when they sign up for the next meet.  Anybody got a work-around?

Dan,

We recently learned that that feature doesn't work as intended.  However, the 'copy entries from x meet to y meet' does work.

 OK, thanks, David.

So for at least one meet, I'd need to go create entries, then go back and make sure that each athlete is listed as V, JV or FS correctly.  Then I could copy them to the next meet. Correct?

Yep, sounds like that would work just fine.
