3A being District 1, District 2, District 3/4, and Districts 5-8
2A being District 1, District 3, District 4, District 5/6, and District 7.   The lone District 2 team will qualifying with District 3, I believe...
1A being Districts 1/2/3, District 4, District 5, District 6, and District 7
B/2B being Districts 1/2/3, District 4, District 5/6, District 7, District 9

Rob,

Thanks for passing on the new information regarding Washington's alignments for 08-09.  We appreciate your help in keeping the state updated!

One question, are the alignments for both XC and Track?  If so, I can make the changes and approve them at the same time.

Thanks again!

No problem. I've been trying to keep track of all the new updates, so it wasn't a problem to share it with you guys.

New classifications are listed here, for future reference: http://www.wiaa.com/classification/schools08-10.aspx

Figuring out who moves to which leagues is the only hard part... you have to look up league websites and ask people who are involved with the schools that would know, and even then I missed some info (i.e., the four 3A District 3/4 schools that aren't part of a league)

Recent news sports reports on Glacier Peak say they will compete in WesCo SOUTH 3A division, so might be worth a check before plugging them in to your lists.
