Oops never mind. I see the results too. (Clicked on the wrong link)

I'm still confused about the Welcome message though.

The ability to post a message to coaches on the Athlete Registration page is a Track feature, not XC.

On the New meet page, the Welcome Message is located on the 'Meet Info' tab...which is to the left of the 'Teams' tab.

Before a meet occurs, the page will default to Meet Info tab.  After a meet, the page defaults to Team tab and shows all the results posted.

Example of Before a meet occurs: http://www.athletic.net/CrossCountry/Results/Meet.aspx?Meet=23220#14025

Example of After a meet occurs: http://www.athletic.net/CrossCountry/Results/Meet.aspx?Meet=20599

I don't know if I am missing something, but I cannot access any of the manage items in the new manage meet screen. I can change tabs for the teams coming to meet and can see my message. I cannot download entries, upload results, etc.

Here is the link to the Meet Manage page for the Jefferson Invitational: http://www.athletic.net/CrossCountry/Results/Meet.aspx?Meet=20410#111

Edited Post:  The Meet Host Tools are now working properly, and all links should be usable.  Thank you, everyone, for your feedback regarding this.

As mentioned in the previous post (in the Edited Notes), the meet host tools are now functional again for those of you who were having trouble clicking on them.  Thank you for reporting this!

Filter Feature on New Meet page: For those of you who have not yet discovered that you can filter and view results by an individual team or any combination of teams, you can test this out with the Nike Holly Invitational meet in Michigan.  Click on the team abbreviation to filter to just those results.  Additionally, you can click on the Division/Alignment headings to view results for all teams listed under the heading.

Very cool ... any hope of that someday soon working the same here:

Currently it only works if we happen to be in the same meet.

Maybe not quite understanding your wish, but a Meet Results page is different from a Performance List in that the Performance List draws from all meets.

The Custom Performance Lists currently handle the job of results for any combination of schools.

...okay, so now I think I know where you are going.  A non-permanent custom performance list, where you can simply select certain schools, view the top times or hypothetical meet results, and then exit from the page or start over.  I like this indeed!  Don't know how soon something like this might appear, but it would be cool! Smile

precisely the idea ... and you want to go really really cool extend that ... so I can save my "on the fly" hypothetical meets for future use -- maybe give me five of them ... when I want a sixth I can dump one

to set up a league now is a bit of work for you and for me ... but I can look at my top competitors for this weekends meet for example in a hypothetical if I can filter ... or the week after that ... or whatever

heck as usual I say make it available to paying members -- make my membership valuable

Don and Dan -

I asked this question about 2 weeks ago, when I wanted to create a custom list for the schools that will be attending the Portage Invitational.    What would be really cool would be some type of screen where you could create a mock meet.  Kind of like, click on each of the schools that you want to compare and then sort....

Paying members - hey?

I really don't like the fact that the Welcome section does not appear on the page with results any more.  I like to post team scores and as far as I know there is no way todo this except by cutting and pasting in the Welcome section.  By taking the Welcome section away teams can not see how they scored in a meet.  Could you please reinstate this section as it was before?  Thanks,  Jack Spaulding

We plan to reinstate this in the next two or three days.  Thanks for letting us know how much you value this.

On another topic, we've just added a grade/year filter to the meet page as well.  You'll find it above the "Turn on Highlighter" link.  Let us know your thoughts.

I also miss the Team Notes section. I just went in to try to post up my team assignments for the big meet we are attending and I cannot for the life of me figure out where the links went that would let me do that. Maybe you've moved them and I just haven't found yet....

This will also be reinstated in the next two or three days, as Josh updates a few other aspects of the new meet page.  Thanks for letting us know.

OK, team notes have been brought back.  In addition, comments should be viewable on a meet pages now:

Thanks for the feedback!

Ok. Maybe it's just me that does this. I copy results off athletic.net and paste them into Excel, clean up the columns, then paste them into a newsletter every week.

NOW, when I copy just my school's results and paste into Excel, it pastes the WHOLE DANG LIST of results! That is just plain weird. I just have to sort the list by school and then have my own school's results. But it's weird that I think I am only copying MY school's stuff and it is really copying everything. How does that even work, anyway? Nevermind! I don't want to know! I just thought it was weird.
