As a follow-up to a post yesterday about jumping years when entering athletes, I find this confusing.

If I go to enter a meet in cross country, unless I click on 2008 I am in 2009.  If I type the date in the add meet by date part as 9/2/2008 it should know I want 2008, but it does not.  The meet would be added to 2009 even though dated in 2008.  Instead I need to click on 2008 before doing it ... however I then proceed through the process, add the meet and click save and continue ... and it returns me back to 2009 so unless I am really careful to again hit 2008 ... my next meet is in 2009.

I think years should be kind of sticky.  Maybe I am thinking different than you guys and maybe you just weren't thinking of me working with historical data.
