I was wondering if the different meet divisions would allow me to take entries for a regular 4x100 and for a thrower's 4x100.  If I designate division 2 for the throwers, how do I put that on the custom event list?

We have introduced two new features that are relevant:  Event sub-types and customizable divisions.

Event sub-types are the key to tracking thrower relay results on the website, and I have updated the website with the sub-type.  However, there is no method of communicating the sub-type to a meet manager during the entry export process, so we need another method.

The solution is to setup a custom division for the throwers relay, and setup a the throwers relay even in your meet manager in a similar division.  Entries should flow from our site into the meet manager without any problem.  When you import the results back, you will want to be sure to redirect the results in the throwers relay division into the 4x100m event's throwers sub-type.

To answer your question, first create the custom division, and then click "Customize event list" and select only the 4x100m in the thrower division.  Make sense?  I am glad that we are finally able to offer a good solution to this question.  This technique can be used for wheelchair races as well.
