We've just released a new Track & Field event progress report for Site Supporters.  We still have a few tweaks to make (sorting, team conversion preferences, a few PRs are being calculated incorrectly, etc).

Let us know your thoughts, and if you have suggestions for improvements:
http://www.athletic.net/TrackAndField/Report/EventProgress.aspx?SchoolID=1&S=2008&Event=1

Try out the 'All Events,' and then close the ones you don't want.  (Currently 'All Events' is the last selection on the event list, but will be moved to the top).

OK, the report should now sort by Season Record, as well as regard the school's conversion preferences.  At some point we'll see about pulling in all personal records (for other seasons as well).

Looks like a great idea...

is it possible to replace the numbers 1,2,3,4 across the top of the table with the date or the name of the meet...

I know that might be a tight fit, but it would make the chart much clearer to read...

I agree - nice report.   When looking at the women`s side and then changing event, it switches to the men`s report. Could it stay in the current gender?

The pull down menu seems to reflect our region`s standard events. At first I missed not seeing splits listed, but they show up on "all events."

Just a thought - What about adding a first column after the name for previous year SB; if looking at 2008, show  "2007 SB".

It's a very useful tool.  Some of our events do not include results from all of the meets (men's high jump).  Is there something we need to change to integrate all results?

Love it...and am really excited for when PR's from previous season some into play as well.

Also, as the coach in the previous post mentioned...there are no season-long marks for any of the jumps...just SR and PR.

Keep up the GREAT work guys, I get more and more excited with everything this site does for Track and Field.

I like the new feature it is a very useful tool. My one question would be when are the jumps going to reflect the season progression as well?

This new feature is great!  Keep up the good work.  The only thing I have noticed is that if the athlete has a better personal record from previous years, it does not show up under the personal (lifetime) column.

We've updated this report.  It should now work for jumps, as well as include all PRs (even from previous seasons).

We're noticing a few more bugs in this report.  We'll get these fixed and live by tonight.

I really like this feature. It would be nice, however, to show PRs for all active athletes, even if they haven't run the event this season. That would be especially helpful for early season situations. thanks,

Might I suggest that a printer friendly list be included in a future addition to this report.

It would be something that either could be saved as an excel file or as a Word file, with a single line across for each athlete in Alpha order.

Just a thought, not complaining.

One thought...one problem

Problem...on the girls list, the events are not showing up...you have all the marks, but it does not tell you the event you are look at.

Thought...since PR's are marked in bold and highlight...maybe each previous PR an athlete has during the season could remain in bold...and the current lifetime PR mark is both in bold and the highlight.  In this, a kid who has set numerous PR's in a season will stand out because of the number of bold marks...especially since a previous season-best mark is not there, unless their PR is from a previous season.

Hope this makes sense...kinda jumbled after watching our Blazers get whooped up on just a minute ago...Tongue Tied

Life is full of hurdles...and NONE are impossible.
