have any of the other coaches from michigan noticed that picnkney and traverse city central each have a girl listed twice on the xc forum because of different spellings of their names? not sure how that could be corrected, other then by coaches entering their data very carefully.
Duplicate athletes can also occur when results are uploaded for a meet and the athletes are not matched up properly, causing a new profile to be created with a different spelling.
This can be corrected by the coach setting the athlete names to be identical. Our system will then merge the profiles within 24 hours.
I went ahead and did this for the two female athletes from Traverse City Central and Pinckney.
